Flux Cored Brazing Alloy

In the summer of 2004 Handy & Harman of Canada introduced our Handy 1 family of brazing alloys.

Handy 1 is a flux cored product.  To be more precise, it’s a brazing alloy in strip form rolled around a powdered flux.  Formulations currently exist for silver or aluminum

based filler metals and it is packaged for the distributor market in acrylic tubes with six Handy 1 rods per tube.

Almost anyone involved in the brazing process can benefit from this product.  Examples of some of the market segments whose special needs are ideally suited for Handy 1 include:

-Automotive and HVAC controls

-Heater core assemblies

-HVAC compressors

-Plumbing fixtures

-Furniture manufacture

-Hydraulic tubing

Handy 1 is uniquely designed to deliver the correct amount of flux where it is needed.  Because the flux is essentially pre-measured and accurately distributed, it eliminates many of the problems associated with overuse and under use.
